The fall of the Inca Empire

Image
The Fall of the Inca Empire         In 1513,  a Spanish sailor with the name Vasco Nunez de Balboa, sailed to the Americas. He started searching for a golden empire in present-day Panama. His mission failed, and he would only find the Pacific Ocean. When he returned to Spain, He was beheaded by false treason from a jealous Spanish official.         One of Balboa's soldiers, Francisco Pizzaro, searched for the gold after Balboa was beheaded. The golden empire was ruled by the Inca empire, which was a strong and mighty empire. It had grown weaker by the 1530s. Pizzaro led the Empire to meet with him with the empire's soldiers unarmed, and the Empire agreed. He managed to pull off a surprise attack on the empire and defeated them.
