Credible Sources

                            Credible Sources

What are Primary / Secondary Sources?

- Primary Sources are sources that come directly from the thing you are learning such as raw data, records, and key facts

- Secondary Sources are sources that relate, discuss, summarize, analyze, etc.. Primary sources. some of these can be books that explain a primary source, an article that discuss the primary source, and many more.

What is a Credible Source?

-A credible source is source that you can trust. Most credible sources can be found in websites ending in .gov/.edu and / .ac. It is important to use credible sources while researching rather than any other source because it has the right information and you can trust it. If you don't use credible sources, you might end up researching the wrong facts and giving out wrong facts. Some credible source websites are Government Websites because they are peer-reviewed, Google Scholar, it is a verified academic search engine, and many others. Some UNCREDIBLE  sources are the BBC, because it is very bias, and Wikipedia, because it can be edited by anyone with an electronic device. Some key questions you need to ask while trying to find a credible source is:

Is there an author? Date?

Is there evidence? Where? Is it sourced?

Is there a reference list? And in-text referencing?
